About us
A16 Winery is a project that blends tradition, innovation and passion in producing boutique wines in the well-known wine region of Luján de Cuyo. Located in this strategic and historic area, it is recognized worldwide for the quality of its wines, the winery embodies our unwavering spirit creating outstanding wines driven by sustainability and respect for the environment basis.
A16's wine production is grounded in sustainable agronomic practices, with a strong emphasis on organic methods and the preservation of both natural and human resources. Our Papa Francisco vineyard, respects and protects the native flora and fauna, integrating more than 30 species of trees and shrubs from various parts of the world. These natural elements adorn the southern boundary of the property, offering a unique landscape visible from Route N°7, which enhances the beauty of the surroundings.
The winery stands out for its use of advanced technologies in crop development. The orientation of the vines is optimized to maximize sun exposure and improve the vineyard's performance, guaranteeing the production of high-quality wines.
"A16" name has a special meaning. The "A" represents love, harmony and height in Spanish, while the "16" refers to Cartellone's project number. In addition, the number has a symbolic connection with the biblical story of Genesis, in which God worked for six days and dedicated the seventh to appreciate his creation. A16 Winery is a tribute to dedication, effort and the celebration of life handed down in its wines.
